In Dune: Imperium, you lead one of the Great Houses of the Landsraad, combining classic worker placement with deck-building to create a game of hidden information and shifting strategy. Each round, you draw a hand of cards and take turns placing your Agents on the board by playing a card—your deck literally determines where you can go and what you can do.
When all your Agents are placed, you take a Reveal turn, flipping your remaining cards to generate Persuasion (to buy new, more powerful cards) and Swords (to fight for the round's rewards on the revealed Conflict card). Your choices in acquiring cards define your path: you might build a military machine to overwhelm rivals, or cultivate influence with the four major factions—the Emperor, the Spacing Guild, the Bene Gesserit, and the Fremen.
Every game starts with a unique leader card and an identical deck, but as you tailor your deck, your strengths and weaknesses evolve. Combat is tense, politics are sharp, and the race for control of Arrakis is relentless. The Spice must flow—and only one House can claim victory.
