Description

In Underwater Cities, you are one of Earth’s brightest minds, tasked with creating the most thriving undersea habitat possible. The game revolves around a clever card placement system: you’ll play colored cards into matching colored slots along the main board. When you match colors, you get to take both the action shown on the slot and the advantage printed on your card — doubling your efficiency.

These actions let you gather raw materials, build and upgrade city domes, tunnels, and production buildings like farms, desalination devices, and laboratories in your personal underwater area. You can also move your marker on the initiative track to influence turn order, activate your special A-cards, and collect new cards — both basic and special — that open up better decisions later. With nearly 220 cards divided into five types based on when and how they’re used, every game offers fresh strategic paths. Your underwater board is double-sided, giving you even more ways to earn victory points and ultimately win. It takes about 30–45 minutes per player, so dive in and build the future!
